Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans.
What’s up, awesome souls? It’s been a while since I last wrote. A lot has transpired, and it could be summed up by the quote above. I wonder if you resonate with it somehow, or has it rang a bell in your mind at some point.
With almost 17 days away from our wedding, I’m enveloped with various thoughts and emotions that would keep me awake in some days. Don’t worry, I’m still looking out for myself.
However, things took a turn when Dakila got diagnosed with Ehrlichia roughly around a week ago.
What is it?
Ehrlichiosis is a tick-borne infectious disease of dogs, usually carried by the brown dog tick. It first gained attention as a significant disease when military dogs returning from Vietnam during the 1970s were found to be infected.

So yes, another tick-borne disease plagues our baby within days away from our big day. It’s truly painful to see him feverish and lethargic. But, we managed to consult a vet here in Legazpi, and he got his antibiotic shot and meds.
One thing that really made my heart flutter was how my mom and aunt worry about Dakila. They would check in on him, tell him to eat his meals, and be a good boy. It’s a big gesture for me since they come from a different generation, it’s what I call character development. 💖
Life Lately
Just a quick summary of how things were in the past few weeks:
I’ve participated in a research study about ADHD women here in the Philippines. They found me through my website, and it made me feel so happy that in my own little way, I could help people. (Also, thanks to my SEO knowledge that put my website back on the map ✨)
I’ve been going to nail salons to have my nails done, particularly gel polish because it doesn’t get ruined easily like ordinary polish. Honestly, I’m such a clumsy one when it comes to nail polish. I could get my nails (with ordinary polish) ruined in just a few seconds after they told me it’s safe to go. 😖
My reading journey continues. So far, I’ve read seven (7) books to date. I got two in progress, which one has been on hiatus so far. The goal is to read 24 books for this year, and I’m close to reading 1/3 of my goal! 😎
Still a goal digger, through thick and thin! 💪🏽🤑
My grade school friends and I had a potluck here at our Legazpi home. It was fun, recharging, and simply relaxing. ✨
Magick Diaries
I know some of you may know that I read Tarot cards and Oracle cards, and the fact that I’m claircognizant.
Fun fact:
Claircognizance is an ability of a few people who can perceive situations through intuition or gut feeling.

Some tidbits of my spiritual journey:
I strive to meditate at least once a week to hone my gifts, but I got preoccupied with adulting, which made my mind hazy.
I’ve helped some of my close friends find their way or seek guidance by reading them cards and asking if what I’ve read resonates with them. Glad to share that it helped them. 🧿
