Things I got curious about the past week | #2
Hooray! The second installment of the weekly series I started continues. ✨
Hi awesome souls,
I hope the past week has been kind to all of you.
I’ve been itching to write about something, but I couldn’t really pin it down to what it was until I got into the rabbit hole of figuring out what the heck was wrong with my website. Previously, I’ve noticed that there’s a weird thing happening when you try to load it. Of course, I tried to figure it out myself. But, at some point I got tired and asked the people who made the theme I’m currently using.
Lo and behold, that got resolved, and my mind found a bit of peace at some point.
Now, I have to ask:
Before I get lost in my universe, here are the things that tickled my brain for the past week:
Starting two scholarship courses on Coursera. I enrolled for two courses relevant to my line of work that I applied for financial aid (or scholarship).
Finding ways to speed up my website or make it load properly. Thanks to GTMetrix and the other tools that helped me.
Getting my applications approved to become an affiliate for some brands. Your girl is a hustler and is constantly finding ways to earn more because living in the Philippines is a love-hate relationship, honestly.
Catching up on series like Young Sheldon S7, RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs. The World. Since ongoing series mean more subscriptions and restrictions, it’s back to the 🏴☠️ life we go.
Studying Google Ads and Meta Ads. Outside of work, I continue to study these two platforms to help me improve my productivity at work. I experiment with my website, and Meta accounts to help me learn. I guess, it’s innate in me to continue upskilling.
My self-published book is turning a year old this year! I almost forgot about this book, honestly. So, if you want to grab a copy of the collection of heart-wrenching poems I composed… click the button below.
What’s new on the blog?
Some new blogs to check out:
Imagine turning your weekend painting sessions into a thriving art business, or your nightly writing escapades into a published collection that fans eagerly await. This isn't just a dream for many; it's a reality thanks to platforms like Ko-fi.
In the Philippines, the understanding and treatment of ADHD are often clouded by misconceptions and stigma. These ADHD treatment misconceptions stem from a lack of awareness and cultural beliefs that influence the perception of mental health conditions.
P.S. Yes, that’s me in the featured image!
Since I can’t activate paid subscriptions here, feel free to support me through Ko-fi through one-off coffee tips, monthly membership, or buy my goodies. 💖
